GCE Advanced Level Cameroon — General Certificate of Education (Sciences + Arts streams)

This course provides a complete preparation for the **Cameroon General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE A-Level)**, the official terminal examination of the Anglophone secondary subsystem of Cameroon, delivered by the **Cameroon GCE Board (CGCEB)** in Buea. This course is for upper-sixth form students (Form 7 / Lower Sixth + Upper Sixth) preparing to sit the GCE A-Level either in **Science stream** (Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science) or in **Arts stream** (English Literature, French, History, Geography, Economics, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Citizenship), and intending to compete for **MINESUP** government scholarships or admission to Cameroonian and foreign universities. At the end of this course, learners will: master the **A-Level structure** (2 papers per subject + practical for sciences); confidently answer **multiple-choice + structured essay questions** following the CGCEB rubric; understand the official **A1-F9 grading scheme**; be able to apply for **FAU scholarships** (Foundation African University) and **MINESUP bursaries** for Cameroonian students. The examination comprises Paper 1 (multiple-choice, 50 questions, 1h30) + Paper 2 (structured essay/problems, 2h30) + Paper 3 (practical, for sciences only, 2h30). Minimum pass grade is **E**; competitive scholarships require minimum **3 A's**. Duration: 90 hours of study across 5 chapters + practice exam (25 Q) + final mock paper (50 Q).
